Asus Taichi 31 Disassembly Steps..

In this guide, i’ll explan How to disassemble Asus Taichi 31 to remove bottom case, SSD, keyboard, Wireless lan card, heatsink and cooling fan, speaker and motherboard.
Asus Taichi 31 Disassembly step:
remove all screws from bottom case and two hidden screws

remove tow hidden screws

pry up and remove the bottom case
now we can get access the battery, wireless lan card, SSD, heatsink and cooling fan, speaker

remove all the screws securing the battery
disconnect the battery power cable from motherboard.

the battery has been removed.

Asus Taichi 31 using a 15v, 53wh li-polymer battery, asus P/BN: C41-TAICHI31

remove four screws securing the heatsink

remove three screws securing the cooling fan.
disconnect two cooling fan cable from motherboard.

now you can remove the heatsink and cooling fan

the cooling fan come from SUNON.

remove one screw securing the SSD.

Asus Taichi 31 using a Sandisk 256GB SSD.


disconnect two WLAN antennas, remove the screw securing the wireless lan card.

Asus Taichi 31 using a Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 wireless lan card.


remove all the screws securing the motherboard, disconnect all the cables,including lcd cable, speaker cable, touchpad cable, keyboard cable

the motherboard has been removed. under the motherboard, we can get access the keyboard
